The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The sites were amazing with loads of different fish and above all admiring the white tip sharks. Furthermore they have great equipement and a nice boot that takes your to different dive sites. If your are looking for a great day trip on the ocean (snorkeling or diving), I would recommend GaiaOne.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.kevin den haan2024-10-05Super nice dive experience. I bought a dive package from Asia Dive Expo 2024, and Noori got in touch with me via WhatsApp after the expo to settle all the admin stuff. She was patient with my questions and really chill. We dove with Leo, and Pak Raja was our captain. I especially appreciate a good dive briefing and Leo’s were clear and concise. We knew the dive plan and where we were going. He informed us his plans for the day, letting us know which dive sites and why (like strong current, waves too choppy which would make the boat ride uncomfortable, etc). The small group size was a major bonus - it was mainly 2 of us, and sometimes had one more person join us for only 2 of the 9 dives we had in total. If you come dive with Leo, you might see a whale shark. He was always friendly, professional and made us feel welcome. The dive crew always handled my equipment carefully and ensured we were comfortable during our boat rides. Snacks, towels and water, coffee or tea on the boat at all times! The dive sites were beautiful. Walls of blue trigger fish, coral reefs are pretty healthy and the coral restoration programme is interesting. Although we didn’t take part it in, I spoke with other guests doing it and enjoyed it a lot. I couldn’t find a clamp I needed for my underwater camera, and Marco was more than willing to lend one to me for my dives. We stayed at Tevana House Reef. It’s an eco resort and we enjoyed it so much. There isn’t air conditioning which to me was not a problem at all cause the fan was sufficient and there’s always a sea breeze! We left the room door open tbh. I usually have sinus issues when diving if I sleep with AC, so the accom was perfect for us. Comfortable, clean and hot water. I’m also really impressed with the efficient use of space at the resort, where spaces to hang gear are out of the sun (as they should be) but in the wind and get dry really quick. The kitchen and wait staff are friendly and patient. If you ordered breakfast the night before, they know your face and dont have to even tell them that you’re at the dining area. Breakfast appears in front of you after being made fresh! Last but not least, you gotta try the barbecue set when you’re here. It was AMAZING. seafood fresh from the market, i.e. it’s caught that morning that it’s served. Can definitely taste the freshness. Overall, staying, eating and diving in Bira with GaiaOne was an exceptional time. Not looking forward to going home :(Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Emelyn Alexander2024-09-30I had an amazing week at Tevana House Reef and diving with GaiaOne. Bira is a stunning location teeming with marine life, from vibrant reef fish to pelagics. The diving experience was made better by GaiaOne’s exceptional crew. Pak Dheni and Marco were particularly attentive, ensuring each diver felt comfortable and safe, despite our varied experience levels. I especially appreciated the smaller dive group, which made it feel like we had the entire dive site to ourselves. I also participated in the Coral Workshop, which I highly recommend. It was an eye-opening experience that deepened my understanding of marine ecosystems and coral conservation. I cant wait to make a repeat of this trip. Thanks again for making this trip so special.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Christian Dusny2024-09-25Thank you so much for this nice dive experience. The two of us (Christian & Nina) had in total 6 dives per person and during the time I got my SSI Deep Dive speciality with Marco. Marco was a really good, conscientious and calm instructor. He refreshed my basics and also filled some knowledge gaps. The dive base has really good rental equipment and is a based within the beautiful Tevana House Reef Hotel, which is a lovely sustainable place with the best food. The dive sites were all really nice and we saw sharks, rays and many different types of corals and of course different fishes. What’s really nice - GaiaOne boutique Diving actively contribute to the preservation of the reef (reef nursery) and there also car for the animals on land. So really big recommendation!!!!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.justina kim2024-09-21We had wonderful holiday with Gaiaone. First I made a reservatio with Noori, she was very helpful and respond quickly to our request. For diving, Marco run a diving center, He is very kind and did his best to fulfull our needs. LEO and Arie is our guide during the tour. Both knows well about the diving site, their briefing was detailed. Captain and boatboys are very kind as well. They assist us properly. I've been to Bira 8 years ago and this was my 2nd visit. What I like about Bira is that it is underdeveloped touristic place so we had no other divers at all. We could enjoy whole site as our own. Bira is famous for sharks. White tips and Blacktips are there almost every dive. This time we saw a huge school of jack fish. They usually stay deep water of 35m but come up when current is strong yet theyre very shy. Juvenile red-tooth trigger is just a lot. They arw everywhere. MARCO says they are always as small as like this. Thanks a lot. I'd like to see u again.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Dennis Gryncewicz2024-09-01We went diving today with Marco from GaiaOne Boutique diving and we had a great time! Very beautiful location, very friendly professional crew and delicious food for after diving! As a fellow dive professional i can defenitely recommend diving with GaiaOne! 🤿Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Alexandra Oertel2024-08-31Highly recommend! Gaia One is simply fantastic! I first visited at the end of April just for some fun dives and enjoyed the diving and the vibes so much that I returned in July for three weeks to take some coral restoration courses. I learned so much about corals and coral restoration in that time. They are doing an amazing job, and I love how the profits from the dive center are used to support the coral restoration project. Bira itself is a beautiful place, especially if you enjoy a place that tourism hasn’t really discovered yet. Thank you so much everyone from GaiaOne and Tevana House Reef for a truly unique expierence ❤️Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Sinead Lewis2024-08-28I had the most amazing experience at Gaia One Boutique Diving! I did my Open Water PADI Diving course there. It was amazing. Not only was my instructor really great but the reefs were absolutely beautiful and the training went very smoothly. My favorite part was seeing the turtles! I also did a little bit of the coral restoration which was very informative and really enjoyed doing it. I also stayed at Tevana house which was really great with beautiful sea views and lovely staff and food. I would stay there again and I’m definitely going to do my advanced Open Water and doing the coral restoration for longer! If you love the sea and want to do scuba's diving this is the perfect place! For beginners and advanced! Love this place!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Mika Hasanah2024-08-07This was my first dive after 5 years. Felt a lil bit nervous for sure, but GaiaOne made me at ease. Marco and Pak Dheni took a good care of me, such competent divers and underwater photographers! I did a refresher and 2 dives around Pulau Kambing. We encountered plenty of sharks, octopus, eel, and many that day. Thank you, Marco & Pak Dheni 🙏🏼 Till we meet again. Photo credit: Marco
