RESTORATION INTRODUCTION

  • Introduction of GaiaOne
  • Workshop on importance of corals
  • Coral Biology discussion
  • Discussion on what we can do to protect the environment

PLANTING DEMONSTRATION

  • GaiaOne demonstration on live coral planting and fragmenting methods. GaiaOne will dive to attach the corals to our racks after.
  • Dead coral collection by students while snorkeling (if done at the beach)
  • Interactive Rope Technique Simulation where students attach dead corals to ropes as an example of our work
